Mariners Apartment Complex has been on repeat in my car everyday while driving my little one to daycare. Falling down the Lana Del Rey rabbit hole was only a matter of time and now that I'm here, I can't help but feel moved to my core. To experience LDR's music is to transform into another dimension and finding yourself surrounded with diamonds, poetry and the emptiness of The American Dream. I am keenly aware of Lana's use of washed out pastel colors and hope that my own film images can convey a fraction of that nostalgic prowess.
